At Canvas Beauty Company, model calls are a core part of our assistant training program and our promise to grow the next generation of elite artists. While our assistants spend months learning the ins and outs of the industry under the guidance of our senior team, model sessions give them hands-on experience with complex, high-demand services, help them refine a niche, and build a real portfolio before graduating to full-time artists. In return for a significantly reduced model fee, we ask models to come with open expectations, be excited to try trend-forward looks, and understand that great color often happens in a process. We also encourage a little cheerleading…selfies, tags, and reviews… to help your artist start building a healthy clientele in the community.
